planning |
In order to tailor a design to meet the needs of each client, preliminary discussions to determine the client’s concerns and the collection of data will be carried out. At this stage, the functional priorities, design criteria, design schedule and budget will be clearly established. |
concept |
A concept presentation in the form of black and white perspectives, elevations, furniture layout and selection of furniture, fixtures and fabrics will be delivered to the client in order to define the design concept of the space, which includes its functions and design aesthetic (the mood and “feel” of the space). |
design development |
The design will be refined and further developed, before a final presentation takes place. Following this, a design development package will be produced. This package contains drawings that capture the design concept of the entire space from various plans, elevations, detailed sketches, specifications and a coordinated schedule. The design development package also forms the basis for the production of the construction document package. |
documentation |
The construction document package is drawn up based on the design development package, and serves as formal documentation of every design detail and specification. The construction document package will be used for the calling of tender. |
assist in tender and negotiation |
Assist in the Client’s evaluation and negotiations process of reviewing all tenders or quotations, coordination with other service providers and appropriate revisions to documents will also be made in order to meet Client’s budget. |
on-site design inspection and review |
Regular site supervision and inspection will be conducted to ensure that the work is executed according to the design. A final site inspection with the client will be conducted to verify that the work is completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications before the site is handed over for occupation. |
