Sun Sun Ng graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture from the Curtin University of Technology. She has fourteen years of working experience in interior design consultancy, and has worked various types and scales of interior projects such as hospitality, residential, offices and retail interiors with renown hospitality interior designers firm in Singapore. In 2008, she set up Baya Weaver with the intent of providing clients with elegant, functional designs that are environmentally conscious and sustainable.

The baya weaver - a bird indigenous to South Asia - builds nests with great architectural skill. It is for this reason that Sun Sun Ng has named her interior design consultancy after this remarkable bird. Set up in 2008, Baya Weaver is focused on providing clients with individualised, elegant and functional designs that demonstrate a sensitivity to the environment in aesthetics and resource usage.
